1.Foreign Students under an X type visa contact International Office as soon as you entered China, and present the relative materials and handle the legal affairs, such as the procedure of applying the Physical Health Report Reconfirmation and Residence Permit.

2.International students under an X type visa, within 30 days of entering the country, must go to the Entrance and Exit Affairs office of the Nanjing Public Security Bureau to apply for a residence permit, those who fail have be as the illegal residents.
3.During the NJCIT semester, the international student who change visa type, or extension of visas, or residence permit should apply to International Office 7 days in advance, then apply to the Department of Entry and Exit of Aliens, Nanjing Public Security Bureau before expiration. The international student who change the address on Residence Permit must apply to International Office within 3 days from the day of moving into a new place, and check-in the accommodation procedure in 24 hours.
4. The international student who lose the Passport, Visa or Residence Permission, must report the case in writing to International Office for developing a further application document ASAP. With International Office’s document the loser should go to the Department of Entry and Exit of Aliens, Nanjing Public Security Bureau for a document of reissue a lost passport or residence permit or a visa.
