A Delegation from Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Malaysia, Visits NJCIT

On December 17, a delegation of seven members visited NJCIT. The delegation was led by Haim Hilman, Member of the Kedah State Executive Council and Chairman of the Industries & Investment, Higher Education & Science, Technology & Education, along with Mohad Sazwan Hafiz, Assistant Director of the National Economic Planning Department, and Dato’ Mohd Sahil Zabidi, Chairman of Kulim Hi-Tech Park. They were accompanied by Xu Jun, Director of the Operation Department at Jiangsu Radio and Television Press Co., Ltd. The visit aimed to bolster educational, technological, and industrial exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, promoting the internationalization of higher education, fostering sci-tech innovation, and strengthening the China-Malaysia friendship. NJCIT's President Tian Min and Vice President Du Qingbo hosted a meeting with foreign guests at room B504 of the Administration Building. Attendees included relevant heads from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, the School of Electronic Information, the School of Network and Communication, the School of Artificial Intelligence, and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing.

In his welcoming address, President Tian Min expressed that NJCIT has consistently committed to nurturing high-quality skilled talent with a global perspective and innovative capabilities. He expressed keen anticipation for comprehensive and multi-tiered collaborations with the Kedah State Government and Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Malaysia in fields such as talent development, research collaborations, and cultural exchanges, aiming to jointly advance the economic and social progress of both countries. Chairman Haim Hilman and Chairman Dato’ Mohd Sahil Zabidi also delivered enthusiastic speeches during the meeting. They commended NJCIT for its outstanding achievements in education, teaching, technological innovation, and international education. They expressed their eagerness to establish a long-term, stable partnership with NJCIT, aiming to foster deeper collaboration in fields such as sci-tech R&D, innovation commercialization, talent cultivation, and the joint development of vocational standards.

During the discussions, both parties engaged in thorough exchanges on specific cooperative projects and reached a preliminary agreement on the future direction of their cooperation. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, witnessed by all participants, representatives from NJCIT, Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Malaysia, and Jiangsu Radio and Television Press Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation and exchanged souvenirs, marking a significant advancement in their tripartite collaboration.

Before the meeting, the delegation visited various teaching and experimental training facilities, including the School of Network and Communication, the School of Artificial Intelligence, the School of Electronic Information, and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing.

The visit from the delegation of Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Malaysia, not only established a vital platform for communication and collaboration between NJCIT and relevant Malaysian institutions but also laid a solid foundation for deeper future cooperation between the two parties. NJCIT intends to leverage this opportunity to enhance its collaboration with renowned enterprises and research institutions both domestically and internationally, aiming to increase its global education standards and overall competitiveness. It is committed to making significant contributions toward developing high-quality skilled professionals with international competitiveness.
