A Delegation from Svay Rieng University in Cambodia Visits NJCIT for Exchanges

On the morning of December 16, a delegation of seven members, led by Tum Saravuth, President of Svay Rieng University in Cambodia, visited NJCIT. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the two universities in the fields of education, scientific research, and cultural exchanges. Tian Min, President of NJCIT, met the guests in the B504 Conference Room of the Administration Building. Relevant heads from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, the School of Electronic Information, and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing attended the meeting.

President Tian Min warmly welcomed the delegation and provided a detailed introduction to NJCIT's achievements in international education, major development, and talent cultivation. He stressed NJCIT's commitment to nurturing high-caliber technical and skilled professionals while promoting international education initiatives. He expressed hope that this exchange would foster closer ties with the Svay Rieng University. Following that, Professor Tum Saravuth, President of Svay Rieng University, remarked in his speech that the meeting highlighted not only the academic exchange between the two institutions but also the deep-rooted friendship between China and Cambodia. He emphasized that since its inception, Svay Rieng University has been committed to delivering high-quality education aimed at developing students with a global perspective and a strong sense of social responsibility. He expressed that through this visit and future collaborations, the two universities would collaboratively explore a path toward mutual benefit and shared success.

During the discussions and exchanges, both sides engaged in thorough conversations on topics of shared interest and exchanged ideas on potential future partnerships. The meeting also featured a ceremony for issuing the letters of appointment to experts and an exchange of souvenirs, further reinforcing the friendly relations between the two universities.

Prior to the talks, the delegation, accompanied by President Tian Min, toured the campus. They focused on visiting the School of Network and Communication, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and the School of Electronic Information, gaining insights into NJCIT's educational facilities, practical training bases, and students’ study and living environments.

The visit by the delegation from Svay Rieng University in Cambodia has forged a bridge of friendship and cooperation between NJCIT and related educational institutions in Cambodia. Both sides expressed their eagerness to pursue broader and deeper collaborations in talent training, academic exchange, and teacher training, jointly promoting the high-quality development of international educational exchanges and contributing to the cultivation of more professionals with a global perspective and specialized skills.
