From November 26 to 28, the service training course on international exchange and cooperation in vocational education sponsored by the Jiangsu Education Association for International Exchange was successfully held in Nanjing. The training aims to improve the level of international exchange and cooperation in vocational education, promote the connotation construction of vocational colleges, and enhance the competitiveness and influence of Jiangsu's vocational education in the world. Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT) responded positively and sent two teachers from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department to participate in the training.
The training was rich and varied, covering the current international situation, China's opening-up guidelines and policies in the new era, and the overall deployment of vocational education internationalization; the situation and strategic deployment of education opening-up and vocational education internationalization in Jiangsu Province; practical exploration of overseas cooperation in running school between Chinese enterprises and vocational colleges; practical exploration of going global and bringing in by vocational colleges from sister provinces and cities; practical exploration on promoting the construction of Zheng He Academy by vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province; and practical exploration on the quality certification of education for international students in China in higher vocational colleges.
Participants said that this training enabled them to gain a deep understanding of the latest trends and policy directions of vocational education internationalization and learn the advanced experience and practices of many sister colleges in international exchanges and cooperation. The precious knowledge and experience will positively guide and promote the future work of international exchanges and cooperation in NJCIT, and contribute to the opening up of high-level vocational education in the new era.
