[School of International Education] Organized International Students to Participate in 2024 Freshmen Cup Badminton Competition

In order to enrich the cultural life of international students in the Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT), promote their physical and mental health, and show solidarity, cooperation, and a positive spiritual outlook, on the evening of December 3, the School of International Education organized international students to participate in the 2024 Freshmen Cup Badminton Competition, where they competed with contestants from various schools and experienced the charm of badminton together.

On the competition field, the students showed their tenacious fighting and cooperation spirits, interpreting the sportsmanship of friendship first, competition second. On the courtside, Chinese and foreign students had in-depth cultural exchanges and shared their respective cultural characteristics and interesting stories of life. Occasionally, they let out thunderous applause to cheer up their teammates on the field. They crossed language and cultural barriers and enjoyed the fun brought by badminton matches together.

The sportsmanship and enthusiasm for cultural exchange displayed during the competition will become an unforgettable memory for the international students. This competition not only made them experience the joy of athletics but also allowed them to find friendships and a sense of belonging here and better integrate into the study and life at NJCIT. At the same time, it also gave young Chinese students an opportunity to learn about Thailand's culture and enhance mutual understanding and friendship.
