Wang Danzhong, Secretary of the CPC Committee of NJCIT and His Delegation Visit Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone for Research

In order to thoroughly implement the State Council's decision and deployment on implementing the employment priority strategy to promote high-quality and full employment, and actively respond to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education for special activities of university secretaries and presidents visiting enterprises and expanding jobs to promote employment, Wang Danzhong, Secretary of the CPC Committee of NJCIT, Sun Gang, Vice President of NJCIT, and their delegation went to Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone to carry out research on college-enterprise cooperation and field application engineer cultivation special program from November 26 to 27. Li Hongchang, Director of the Department of Induatry-Education Integrated Development, Wang Congrong, Secretary of the General CPC Branch of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and Zhao Haifeng, Deputy Dean of the School of Intelligent Transportation, participated in the research.

This activity received significant attention from Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone. Chen Zhengdong, Director of the Organization Personnel and Labor Bureau of Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone, accompanied Secretary Wang Danzhong and his delegation to visit Suzhou Nanzhi Core Material Technology Co., Ltd. and held a discussion between the college and the enterprise in the zone. Director Chen said that he attached great importance to talent training and introduction and would like to thank NJCIT for its support for local talent introduction. He hoped that through this visit, the tripartite cooperation would be deepened and solidified, and the integration of industry and education would be further deepened starting from the field application engineer cultivation program, thereby striving for more cooperation and resource sharing.

During this research, Secretary Wang Danzhong and his delegation held a discussion with the representatives of follow-up students from Suzhou Nanzhi Core Material Technology Co., Ltd., Renshine Solar (Changshu) Co., Ltd., Getac Precision Technology (Changshu) Co., Ltd. and Luxshare Intelligent Manufacture Technology (Changshu) Co., Ltd., expressing their concern for the students' learning and living conditions in the enterprises. The students introduced their positions and work contents within the companies, shared their learning experiences from their roles, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the college's education and teaching based on their learning experiences. They also expressed their gratitude for the quality positions and learning platforms provided by the college, development zone and enterprises.

During the discussion, Secretary Wang Danzhong affirmed the spiritual outlook of students and hoped that students would actively participate in the wave of technological innovation and high-tech industry development, temper themselves in their posts, broaden their knowledge, and become a new generation of industrial workers with knowledge and skills. He also gave guidance on students' future development and encouraged them to combine theory with practice while learning, strive to form their own innovative insights that can be applied to productivity innovations, and achieve greater personal value.
