Great News! Students from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Secure the First Place in the National Finals of RAICOM (Industrial Internet Integration and Debugging)

On November 23 and 24, the 2024 RAICOM Engineering Maker Track National Finals, sponsored by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and organized by Beijing University of Chemical Technology, was held in Beijing. A total of 374 teams from 151 universities and higher vocational colleges across China competed on the same stage. Under the guidance of teachers such as Pan Mingyue and Zhang Donglin, a team composed of Zhou Yutong and Gu Zhuoqun from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing of NJCIT won first place in the first prize of the Industrial Internet Integration and Debugging Competition for Micro Desktop Factory, while another team composed of Wang Liankun and Li Jiankun won the second prize.

To be geared to the new requirements of promoting the deep integration of real economy and digital economy in the context of new industrialization in the new era, and driving the high-end, intelligent and green transformation of the manufacturing industry empowered by the industrial Internet platform, this competition aimed to cultivate students' abilities in automatic programming, machine vision and industrial Internet application development against the background of intelligent and digital industrial upgrading of intelligent manufacturing equipment, and enhance students' overall qualities, such as innovative thinking and teamwork in applying interdisciplinary knowledge to solve practical problems.

Adhering to the concept of promoting learning, teaching and construction through competition, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing fully implemented the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, striving to provide contestants with good preparation conditions. Taking participation in national-level competitions as an opportunity, it continuously improved its professional development level and promoted the cultivation of high-quality industrial Internet talents with the expertise of new-generation information technology and industry.
