Great News: NJCIT Shortlisted in Excellent Cases of 2024 Educational Informationization of Universities and Colleges in Jiangsu

On October 11-12 and November 6-8, the Sixth Conference on Information Technology & Enhanced Teaching (ITET2024) & 2024 Academic Annual Conference of Jiangsu Colleges and Universities Research Association for Educational Informationization was held in Suzhou. Numerous education informationization experts and scholars, as well as outstanding enterprise representatives from both inside and outside the province presented wonderful reports on Education Digitization Empowering High-quality Development of Higher Education, and jointly discussed the innovative application and deep integration of education digitization and AI in higher education. As one of the 39 units commended, NJCIT won the award of Excellent Cases (Collective) of 2024 Educational Informationization of Universities and Colleges in Jiangsu.

The purpose of this selection is to set up models, popularize experience, and promote the development of educational informatization in colleges and universities in our province. The application cases summarize that how NJCIT has leveraged digital construction to enhance scientific education. This has been achieved through the implementation of multi-departmental collaborative digital initiatives that promote quality improvements across management, services, and teaching in multiple dimensions. In the exploration and construction of a new digital ecosystem across areas such as the foundational environment for digital teaching, optimization of integrated services and O&E systems, expansion of digital teaching and practical training methods, reform of teaching evaluation systems, and digital school governance, the main measures, construction achievements, and summarized experiences taken to continuously improve the quality of technical and skilled talent training demonstrate a strong exemplary effect.

In the future, all participating departments in NJCIT's digital construction will collaborate with AI technology applications at the core to create an intelligent vocational skills training system. They will explore digital application scenarios across various fields to provide all faculty and students with a smart educational environment, convenient information services, and precise decision-making support, thereby ensuring robust support for NJCIT's continuous high-quality development.
