The final of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Technology Event of The Information Technology Industry Vocational Skills Competition of Jiangsu Province 2024, one of 'Jiangsu Craftsmen' Vocational Skills Competitions, was successfully held at Suzhou Chien-Shiung Institute of Technology on November 3. Under the guidance of Zhang Ling, a teacher from the School of Artificial Intelligence, NJCIT, Xian Zhiwei competed calmly and earnestly and finally won a first prize.
After the preliminaries in various cities and districts, a total of 30 staffers and 30 students advanced to the final. Sponsored by JiangSu Service Industry Federation (JSSIF), the competition examines the skills of three occupations: artificial intelligence trainer, computer programmer and omnimedia operator. Among them, the artificial intelligence trainers event, as the highlight of this competition, focuses on examining the contestants' vocational skills in the cross-application of AI with big data and cloud computing. The competitors are supposed to have solid theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience to pass both theoretical knowledge and practical skills tests, and comprehensively show their professional quality and skill level in the field of digital technology application. The competition is aimed at promoting the application and development of AI technology in various industries and cultivating more high-quality talent for digital technology application.
This competition fully demonstrated the solid professionalism of NJCIT students. NJCIT students showed their grace and strength in the competition. NJCIT will take this competition as an opportunity to improve the professional quality and skills of its teachers and students in the fields of digital technology and information technology, thus contributing its share to the development of digital technology and information technology in Jiangsu Province.
