On the morning of November 4, the Training Class for Improving the Educational and Teaching Ability of Industrial Mentors, a national training program for secondary vocational schools, was successfully opened at NJCIT. Nearly 180 teachers from vocational schools across the province participated in this training program. Tian Min, President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology; Fang Jianhua, Director of Jiangsu Academy of Educational Sciences; Zhu Li, Deputy Dean of the School of Education and Training, NJCIT; Lu Dongyun, Director of Nanjing Moresignal Technology Co., Ltd. (MORE) and the trainees attended the opening ceremony, which was presided over by Yang Qianhua, Dean of the School of Network and Communication.
President Tian Min delivered a welcome speech, in which he introduced the basic situation of NJCIT, and encouraged all trainees to apply the knowledge and skills learned in practical work through this training class, bravely practice and innovate, and continuously improve their education and teaching level and ability of serving industries. Fang Jianhua, Director of Jiangsu Academy of Educational Sciences, introduced the purpose and significance of this training class, emphasizing the discipline requirements of the training and the learning requirements of listening carefully, thinking deeply and communicating actively.
This national training program is aimed at improving the educational and teaching ability of the industrial mentors from secondary vocational schools. It is necessary to rely on industries and enterprises to develop vocational education, and promote the close combination between vocational schools and enterprises. The training contents mainly include: interpretation of the new situation of vocational education development, sharing of practical experience in youth education, construction of double teachers team in vocational colleges, school-enterprise double teachers collaboration against the backdrop of industry-education integration, and Huawei's case teaching experience.
