On October 27, the Digital Technology Application Vocational Skills Competition of Jiangsu Province 2024 was successfully concluded at Suzhou Chien-Shiung Institute of Technology. After the preliminaries in various cities and districts, a total of more than 40 staffers and nearly 100 students from more than 30 colleges and universities advanced to the final. After fierce competition, Cheng Daohu, a student of NJCIT under the guidance of Teacher Zhang Ling, won the first prize of the Artificial Intelligence Event (Student Group) for his outstanding performance.
The purpose of this competition is to thoroughly implement the Notice of Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province on Organizing the Jiangsu Craftsmen Vocational Skills Competitions and the Notice of Jiangsu Federation of Trade Unions on Organizing 14th Five-Year Plan Labor and Skills Competitions in 2024, so as to further improve the vocational skills of employees in the field of digital technology application throughout the province and promote the high-quality development of the digital economy. The competition set up Artificial Intelligence Training Event, Computer Programming Event and Omnimedia Operation Event. Among them, Artificial Intelligence Training Event attracted much attention. Following the assessment criteria for artificial intelligence trainers (Level III), this event focused on examining contestants' vocational skills in the cross-application of AI, big data and cloud computing. The competition contents cover not only the basic knowledge of AI technology and application, but also the operational ability and innovation ability in practical application scenarios.
This competition fully demonstrated the solid professionalism of NJCIT students. During the competition, NJCIT students calmly responded and flexibly used advanced programming technology and innovative thinking to successfully solve problems, showing the spirituality of the new-generation information technology talent.
