Great News: NJCIT School of Artificial Intelligence Wins the First Prize in the "Jiangsu Craftsman" Job Training Vocational Skills Competition—Jiangsu's 3rd Big Data Engineering Technology Vocational Skills Competition in 2024

From October 26 to 27, under the guidance and filing of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Big Data Engineering Technology final of Jiangsu Craftsman Job Training Vocational Skills Competition—Jiangsu's 3rd Vocational Skills Competition of Information Technology Industry in 2024,which is sponsored by Jiangsu Computer Society, was successfully held at Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts & Technology. As a provincial first-class competition, the final consists of two categories: the Staff (including teachers) Group and the Student Group, both of which are singles.

Sun Renpeng and Li Daqiu from the NJCIT School of Artificial Intelligence won the first and third prizes, respectively, in the Staff Group. In the Student Group, Wang Qin from Class 2201 and Jiang Lehui from Class 2202, both majoring in Big Data Technology Application and guided by Sun Renpeng, secured the second and third prizes, respectively.

This competition, organized in accordance with the National Occupational Skills Standards for Big Data Engineering Technicians (Occupational Coding 2-02-10-11) established by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, plays a significant role in connecting majors and industries, aligning curriculum content with occupational standards, and improving the construction level of big data technology major and the quality of talent training. Guided by the concept of promoting teaching, learning, training and reform through competitions, we will actively encourage teachers and students to participate in various vocational skills competitions, strive to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled professionals who meet the needs of industrial development, and make new contributions to the high-quality development of the local economy.
