At 9:00 on October 10, the opening ceremony for students enrolled in 2024 of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology-Pakchong Technical College Jingshi Institute (5G Communications Technology) was held at C403, Administration Building, NJCIT. The opening ceremony was attended by Pensri Kullapat, Deputy Director of Pakchong Technical College, Nilawan Narattung and Kanchana Timparadon, teachers of Pakchong Technical College, Du Qingbo, Vice President of NJCIT, staff from the Office of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs Office, and the School of Network and Communication, as well as all staff of the School of International Education, and program students.
At the ceremony, the host extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students of Pakchong Technical College who came to NJCIT for the first time on behalf of NJCIT. The host was eagerly looking forward to further in-depth exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand and announced the official start of the ceremony after introducing the guests present.
First, Ms. Pensri Kullapat delivered a speech in which she expressed her gratitude for the support of the Ministry of Education's cultural exchange program between China and foreign countries. She noted that NJCIT provided students from Pakchong Technical College with an opportunity to learn about Chinese culture and enhance their professional skills. She encouraged the students to study diligently to inspire and open new avenues for their career development, and to bring advanced technological knowledge back to Thailand to contribute to the betterment of their country.
In the second part of the ceremony, Yin Siyuan delivered a speech on behalf of all students. On the one hand, he thanked the teachers and students of NJCIT for their warm reception. On the other hand, he expressed his admiration for China and enthusiasm for learning Chinese and professional knowledge. He was looking forward to starting a new journey at NJCIT, studying and making progress together with Chinese classmates, and gaining a rich and unforgettable experience of studying abroad. Then, Chinese and Thai teachers gave all students their school badges and learning packages.
Subsequently, to continuously promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two colleges in various fields, the vice presidents of both sides jointly signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. The signing of the memorandum aimed to promote dialogue between the two colleges, build a bridge for exchanges and cooperation in various aspects such as teaching and scientific research, and help promote the exchange of high-quality educational resources between NJCIT and partner colleges.
Finally, in the warm applause, the two colleges gave each other commemorative gifts to witness their friendship. The teachers and students took a group photo together. The opening ceremony ended successfully.
