From August 23 to August 26, 2024, the national finals of the 2024 RAICOM (Intelligent Reconnaissance Event), hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), were held in Hangzhou Future Sci-Tech City and China Artificial Intelligence Town. The competition attracted undergraduate and graduate students from major universities across the country, as well as students from higher vocational colleges. The event has served thousands of colleges and over 100,000 contestants, covering higher vocational and undergraduate institutions in various provinces and cities nationwide, promoting high-quality development in education.
The School of Network and Communication actively formed teams to participate in student competitions. After intense competition in control circuit assembly and robot contests, Rui Qichao achieved the only perfect score among both undergraduate and graduate contestants in the first robot competition debugging session. Ren Feiyang and Liu Nuo scored an impressive 98 points in the welding and testing phases of the control circuit assembly. NJCIT's Zhitan Pioneers team won first place in the first prize category, while the Youth Xianfeng team took first place in the third prize category.
With the strong support of NJCIT leaders, the School of Network and Communication, relying on the Jiangsu Provincial Skill Master Studio and Doctoral Workspace, has comprehensively built an educational environment that promotes teaching through competition, learning through competition, and industry growth through competition. This has effectively encouraged students from NJCIT to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience in enterprises, contributing to the development of a new generation of innovative digital craftsmen in this new era.
