President Tian Min Attends the 2024 Annual Full Committee Meeting of the National Industry and Information Technology Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee and Delivers a Report

In order to thoroughly learn and implement the guidelines of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, to gain a deep understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discussions on new industrialization, to advance the reform of the modern vocational education system, to promote the integration of industry and education as well as the fusion of science and education, and to foster the integrated development of the industrial chain, talent chain, and education chain, the National Industry and Information Technology Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee (Vocational Education Steering Committee of Industry and Information Technology) held its 2024 Annual Full Committee Meeting on May 25. Professor Tian Min, Vice Chairman of the Vocational Education Steering Committee of Industry and Information Technology and President of NJCIT, attended the meeting. He was accompanied by Professor Yu Baoming from the Industry-Education Integration Development Division and Dean Ma Yongbing from the School of Electronic Information.

At the working meeting of all committee members, Luo Junzhang, Vice President of China Academy of Industrial Internet, Li Yingli, Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, Li Jingbo, Deputy Director of the Center for Vocational Education Department of the Ministry of Education and other leaders delivered speeches respectively. Tian Min, President of NJCIT, delivered a report entitled Building New Hardware Infrastructure for High-quality Development focusing on the understanding and construction paths and deepening the key elements of new hardware infrastructure. President Tian pointed out that Hardware Specialty is the basic unit of talent cultivation and school running quality in higher vocational colleges; Hardware Course is the core element of quality improvement; Hardware Master is the decisive factor of quality improvement; Hardware Region is the difficulty of quality construction, and Hardware Textbook is the best carrier to solidify and radiate the achievements of quality construction. President Tian presided over the seminar for members of the Electronic Information Sub-committee focusing on the work highlights and key activity plans of the Vocational Education Steering Committee of Industry and Information Technology in 2024.

In the Exhibition of Vocational Education Reform and Development Achievements of the Vocational Education Steering Committee of Industry and Information Technology, Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT) fully demonstrated the major construction of Creating the Four Ones Model to Lead the Transformation and Upgrading of Major Professional Group in Electronic Information, as well as the contributions of NJCIT key work of the Electronic Information Sub-committee in 2023.
