Personal Profile
My name is Guyan (Joyce), and I am a Full -time Lecturer at the School of Digital Art, Nanjing College of Information and Technology (NJCIT). I completed my master’s degrees in design art (Visual Communication Art Design). As a member of the teaching and research office of visual communication design, I have been working in this field for more than sixteen years. During my time at NJCIT, my focusing has been on teaching layout design, typography design, advertising design, UI design, VI design. I also specialized in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Additionally, my research focus on the study and application of traditional cultural heritage into modern graphic design projects and works .
Throughout my career, I have received over fifteen national and provincial design awards, applied for thirty-six appearance patents, authored twenty research papers, and written one single-authored textbook, one co-authored textbook, and co-edited three textbooks. My passion of design and teaching pushing me forward throughout my career.
