Party Secretary Wang Danzhong attended the inaugural meeting of NPEC New Professional Education Reform Cooperation

On June 16, 2023, a seminar on the construction and development of a new vocational education micro-certificate system and the NPEC brand release event was successfully held at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and co-sponsored by NPEC. The event combined keynote sharing, parallel workshops, brand launch and other activities. Through the dialogue between education, industry and all walks of life, participants discussed the focal issues and new opportunities, challenges and ideas in the development of vocational education in the context of digital intelligence.

Professor Xi Youmin, Executive Principal of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, delivered a keynote speech on the topic of Creating the future of education innovation through disruptive innovation in vocational education in the era of digital intelligence. He said that the purpose of NPEC is to redesign the talent training system and form a new vocational education exploration by forming a vocational education team, selecting the right industry, choosing partners, and developing strategic partnerships. Also based on in-depth cooperation, we will carry out practical activities, with research and exploration, experimental testing and dissemination and expansion as the main paths, to fully support the development needs of the industry-education integration education model in the new era and context.

As one of the initiators of NPEC, Party Secretary Wang Danzhong was invited to make a keynote speech in the parallel salon Industry-Education Dialogue and share ideas about new vocational education concepts and holistic education. He said, We should unite people who have sentiments for vocational education to change the goal of vocational education and explore new ways. He also expressed his expectation and outlook for NPEC to become a leader and creator to promote change in vocational education.
