The Chinese Bridge Online Group Exchange Project with theme of

On the afternoon of March 29, the closing ceremony of the Spring Camp of the 2023 Chinese Bridge Online Group Exchange Project was held. Sponsored by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and held by NJCIT, the project was centered around Explore the Charm of Chinese Language, Experience the Joy of Vocational Education. The closing ceremony was attended by Habtamu Abebe, President of Wachemo University of Ethiopia, Degale Desta, Director of the Information and communications technologies Directorate, Tian Min, President of NJCIT, representatives of project teachers, and personnel from relevant departments of the three universities in the two countries. Nearly 100 trainees from Wachemo University and Hossana Polytechnic College attended the closing ceremony online. The closing ceremony was presided over by Cao Xue, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, NJCIT.

Du Rui from Wachemo University and Wei Kang from Hossana Polytechnic College made speeches as representatives of the trainees to share their own insights and gains during the three-week study and training. They said that the project was well organized. Although the project was short, they learned a lot. The basics of Chinese and professional knowledge such as 5G + UAV would become an important boost to their future work and life. They hoped that they could have the opportunity to experience the charming vocational education at CQCTT School.

Ludifil, a representative of the project teacher and a Chinese teacher, said in her speech that the three-week course made the teachers deeply feel Ethiopian students' enthusiasm for learning Chinese and their thirst for professional knowledge of communication. She encouraged the trainees to continue to learn Chinese and hoped that they could learn advanced information technology in Chinese in the future.

In his speech, Habtamu, President of Wachemo University, firstly congratulated the trainees who successfully completed their studies, and hoped that the trainees would take this opportunity to improve their level of language and cultural exchanges. Then he introduced the development history of the university and the current education and teaching situation. He hoped that the cooperation between the two universities would be more pragmatic and in-depth on the basis of the existing achievements.

Tian Min, President of NJCIT, issued certificates of completion to the trainee representatives and delivered a speech. He extended his warmest congratulations to the trainees who successfully completed the learning tasks and obtained the certificate of completion, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the relevant personnel of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Bridge Project Team, Chinese Plus and other organizations, as well as the relevant personnel of Wachemo University, Hossana Polytechnic College, and CQCTT School for their hard work. He also hoped the trainees to continue to be friends with China and serve as a bridge for friendly exchanges between China and Ethiopia, contributing to the exchanges and mutual learning between the two countries and to the progress of human civilization.

The Chinese Bridge Online Group Exchange Project lasted for three weeks. The courses were mainly based on Chinese teaching. Centering on the theme of Explore the Charm of Chinese Language, Experience the Joy of Vocational Education, the project focused on the characteristics of Chinese + Vocational Skills education and training, and adopted the forms of online live Chinese courses, recorded theme courses, special lectures on online culture and vocational education, online tour and communication, etc. While learning Chinese, the trainees experienced the unique charm of China's higher vocational education and the distinctive characteristics of China's modernization.
