NJCIT Holds the First Council of National Information Product Manufacturing and Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association and Industrial Development and Creative Talent Training Summit Forum.

On January 8, 2023, the First Council of National Information Product Manufacturing and Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association and Industrial Development and Creative Talent Training Summit Forum was held in Nanjing. It was co-sponsored by Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology and China Quality Certification Centre. The online and offline meeting was attended by 378 enterprises, undergraduate colleges and universities providing vocational education, national and provincial high-level higher vocational colleges, and leading secondary vocational schools. 

The First Council of National Information Product Manufacturing and Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association was chaired by President Sui Bixia of Changzhou College of Information Technology. Tian Min, President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, Xie Zhaoxu, Secretary of CPC Committee/Director of China Quality Certification Centre, Ben De, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Li Jianfang, Director of Vocational Ability Building Department of Human Resources and Social Security Department of Jiangsu Province, and Zhuang Dongling, Second-level Researcher of the Personnel Department of the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, delivered their speeches in the video, offline and manuscript form. 

President Tian Min of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology pointed out in his speech that the council members of the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association cover the leading enterprises in the electronic information industry and the leading enterprises in vocational colleges and universities and it has the roots of being a national benchmark. He hoped that the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association would start its work from four aspects: building a common platform, sharing resources, achieving win-win results and creating a common future. With the support of the leadership of China Quality Certification Centre, NJCIT would work with the council members of the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association to empower the reform and development of vocational education to serve the information industry. 

The speech of Director Xie Zhaoxu of China Quality Certification Centre elaborated on the national strategy, the initial purpose of the establishment of the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association, and the objectives of the future operation and development of the Education Association. Director Xie pointed out that quality improvement and creating a shared life of quality require the long-term efforts of all the council members of the Education Association. The members need to promote high-quality development by laying a solid foundation, train interdisciplinary talent of technology + quality and implement the CPC's strategy proposed at the 20th National Congress of building up China’s strength in product quality. He pointed out that the establishment of the National Information Product Manufacturing and Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association can be said to have achieved a faster pace of development of China's information product manufacturing and vocational education. He stressed that the China Quality Certification Centre, as the authority of the national testing and certification industry, will stand with all the member units of the Education Association and jointly educate people for the Party and the country, comprehensively improving the quality of talent training in the field of information product manufacturing and testing and certification, carrying out quality improvement actions, building up China’s strength in product quality, playing its leading role, promoting reform and innovation in quality, and striving for the full implementation of the CPC's 20th National Congress report on the strategy of building up China’s strength in product quality. 

The establishment of the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association was highly valued by Mr. Ben De, a scientist and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Although he could not be there due to the epidemic, he still wrote the speech himself. Xu Jianjun, Vice President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, read a message from Academician Ben De on his behalf. Academician Ben De explained the necessity of the establishment of the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association from the perspective of the senior scientists and expressed his earnest hope for the Education Association. 

The speech of Li Jianfang, Director of Vocational Ability Development Office of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province, gave guidance on three aspects of the Education Association from strengthening cooperation, innovating the mechanism of cooperation, making full use of the platform offered by the Education Association and doing a good job of cooperation projects, and strengthening the organization of the Education Association itself. Zhuang Dongling, Second-level Researcher of the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, made a speech. He put forward instructive opinions from three aspects: running the school as a group, physical operation, implementation and exploration of the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, opening up new areas for development, and creating new momentum and advantages for development. 

The following leaders jointly pressed the button for the establishment ceremony of the Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association, including Li Jianfang, Director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province, Zhuang Dongling, Second-level Researcher of the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, Chu Jianping, Deputy Director of Nanjing Branch of China Quality Certification Centre, Xia Xianjiang, Secretary of the General CPC Branch of the Second Department of the 14th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Tian Min, President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, Sui Bixia, President of Changzhou College of Information Technology, Zhang Youdong, President of Jiangsu Vocational College of Electronics and Information. By a show of hands, the general meeting unanimously adopted the Constitution of National Information Product Manufacturing and Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association and the first director general, executive vice director general, vice director general, secretary-general and council members. Xie Zhaoxu, Secretary of CPC Committee/Director of China Quality Certification Centre, serves as the director general, and Tian Min, President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, serves as the executive vice director general. 

Zhang Youdong, President of Jiangsu Vocational College of Electronics and Information, presided over the second phase of the meeting—Summit Forum on Industrial Development and Industrial Development and Creative Talent Training Summit Forum. Zhao Qiang, Dean of the College of Electronic and Optical Engineering of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Vice President of Jiangsu Materials Research Society, National Outstanding Youth, Young Changjiang Scholar, Jiangsu Outstanding Youth, and the most influential overseas student in Nanjing, delivered a report entitled On the Development of flexible Electronics Industry and Talent Training; Mr. Chu Jianping, Deputy Director of Nanjing Branch of China Quality Certification Centre, delivered a report titled Delivering Trust and Serving Development—Discussion on Cultivating Talents in Certification and Testing for the Electronic Information Industry; Mr. Li Qiang, CEO of Turing AI Institute of Nanjing, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Qixia District, Nanjing, and Doctor of School of Electronics, Tsinghua University, delivered a report on the Status of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry and Talent Training; Professor Xu Jianjun, Vice President of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, delivered a report on NJCIT Practice of Science and Education Integration. 

The establishment of the National Information Product Manufacturing and Chinese Testing, Inspection and Certification Education Association marks the integration of the electronic information industry and vocational education and the integration of talent training and engineering projects. Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology and China Quality Certification Centre, together with the council members of the Education Association, will focus on the intelligence of the electronic information industry, carry out reforms to train interdisciplinary talent of technology + quality from the supply side, and implement the national strategy of building up China’s strength in product quality.
