Launching Ceremony of the First "Jingshi Cup" International Industry Informatization & Digitization Design and Application Competition for Institutions of Higher Learning Organized by NJCIT Held Successfully

On November 25, the launching ceremony of the first Jingshi Cup International Industry Informatization & Digitization Design and Application Competition for Institutions of Higher Learning sponsored by Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Huatec) was successfully held. Tian Min, President of NJCIT, delivered a speech as the representative of the Chinese organizer. The launch ceremony was held in the form of online live broadcast, with Ouyang Wu, Deputy Secretary-General of CIC, Bistaev F.S, Deputy Director of Russian Higher Education Standards Research Center of the SCO member states , Zhang Yu, President of Huatec, Liang Shu, Executive Vice President of Huatec, and representatives of more than 30 universities from 6 countries, totaling more than 320 people attended the ceremony in the form of online or video. 

At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Zhang Yu, President of Huatec, delivered a speech as the representative of the organizer. He said that the competition has been a powerful tool to promote the development of applied undergraduate education and vocational education reform, as well as an effective way to diagnose the quality of teachers and the learning outcomes of students. Huatec has made a lot of active explorations in hosting the competition in recent years and has accumulated valuable experience. He believes that with the support and efforts of all parties at home and abroad, the competition will surely be successful and become an effective platform for international exchanges and cooperation between colleges and universities at home and abroad in the field of informatization and digitization. 

Afterwards, Mr. Ouyang Wu, Deputy Secretary-General, expressed his high approval of the preparation work of the competition, pointing out that the competition aims to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress under the instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping on continuously strengthening, improving and expanding China's digital economy, serve the national strategy and international exchange and cooperation, and build a high-level international platform for domestic and foreign colleges and universities to contact with new digital and information technologies and jointly carry out friendly exchanges and ideological collisions, and cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents, promoting the development of disciplines, curriculum construction and industry services in universities. 

Deputy Director Bistaev F.S said that the Russian Higher Education Standards Research Center of the SCO member states will use this competition as an opportunity to build more platforms for international competitions, standards research and innovative technological cooperation, to develop open, innovative and all-round cooperation with Chinese higher education institutions and Chinese companies, and to actively expand educational, scientific and cultural opportunities for the universities of the SCO member states to promote the innovative development of education for new technologies and changes for the future. 

President Tian Min expressed his gratitude to Huatec for providing such a platform for the competition, giving universities from different countries an opportunity to exchange and cooperate in the field of industry informatization and digitization. As the organizer, Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology will try its best to promote the success of the competition, and use this competition as an opportunity to promote high-quality opening of vocational education to the outside world and contribute to the construction of a community of human destiny and the construction of the Belt and Road. 

Finally, Ren Shisheng, Vice President of GuiZhou Light Industry Technical College, as the representative of the organizer, and Ouyang Jun, Vice President of Wuhan Police Vocational College, as the representative of the co-organizer, delivered their speeches and wished the competition a successful outcome. The opening ceremony also included speeches and oaths by the representatives of the competition judges. Finally, the opening ceremony officially came to an end in the host's announcement. 

As the Chinese organiser of the competition, NJCIT treasures the opportunity to host this worldwide competition and, on the basis of ensuring that the competition is held fairly and impartially, makes careful arrangements and gives its full support to provide good services and guarantees for the smooth running of the competition. At the same time, it further stimulated the motivation of teachers and students to master and improve their skills, promoted international exchange and cooperation in vocational education, and provided a worldwide platform to build friendship and skills between teachers and students of vocational institutions, to enhance the social recognition and influence and to show demeanor of NJCIT.
