NJCIT Holds Launching Ceremony of 2021 Employment Promotion Week for College Graduates in Jiangsu Province and the 2021 Job Fair for Internship and Employment of Nanjing Information Vocational Technology College

For the purpose of further implementing the decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to stabilize and ensure employment and effectively providing employment services for graduates, the Launching Ceremony of the 2021 Employment Promotion Week for College Graduates in Jiangsu Province and the 2021 Job Fair for Internship and Employment of Nanjing Information Vocational Technology College (NJCIT) was held in the Career Education Base for College Students on the first floor of the Administration Building in the school on the morning of May 9.

Many excellent enterprises were invited to participate in this event, including national defense science and industry enterprises such as Nanjing Panda Handa Technology Co. Ltd., China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation Limited No.8511 Institute, Nanjing Changfeng Aerospace Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Group Corporation No.55 Research Institute and Nanjing Guobo Electronics Co. Ltd. as well as some well-known enterprises such as TSMC, Gree, Yiki, Fanteng and Niu Technologies. More than 1,000 jobs were released online and offline on that day, and the participating companies covered various industry fields such as computer, electronic information, electrical and mechanical equipment manufacturing, and modern services.

At 9:15 a.m., Nanjing University, the main venue of the event, connected NJCIT through a video call. Mr. Ge, Director-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, carefully inquired about the organization of our school's on-site activities and the arrangements of this year's graduate employment activities, and the president of the school, Tian Min, gave detailed answers one by one. President Tian Min also made a report on the College's measures to promote high-quality and full employment of graduates in three aspects: 1) uniting the centripetal force of employment, 2) using scientific measures to drive employment, and 3) enhancing competitiveness through multiple measures. Although the current employment situation is severe, through the joint efforts of the whole college, the total employment rate of NJCIT reaches 64.23%, the employment rate of disabled students with key concerns is 80%, the employment rate of poor students is 68%, and 12.3% of students serve in the national defense industry. This year's employment is better than expected, and there is a steady rise in the quality of employment.

In order to ensure good results for this job fair, the College arranged and organized various activities carefully and conducted in-depth research. Cooperating with relevant departments and secondary schools, the College held meetings for coordination twice, detailed the implementation of work and issued the event notice in advance. Efforts were also made to invite high-quality enterprises to participate, make employment publicity materials and publicity panels and provide warm and thoughtful services for the companies. The event is highly praised by recruiters and graduates.

This event was sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and hosted by NJCIT. The main venue was set in Nanjing University, and NJCIT participated in this event as one of the three parallel venues in the province.
