NJCIT Attends National Vocational Education Reform and Innovation Achievement Exhibition

From May 20 to 22, 2021, the National Launching Ceremony of Vocational Education Week and the Opening Ceremony of National Competition for Skills of Vocational Education were held at Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center, and the Vocational Education Reform and Innovation Achievement Exhibition was held simultaneously. Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT) was invited to participate in the exhibition of the Double High-level Plan vocational colleges.

With the theme of becoming the cradle of electronic talents in the People's Republic of China and the peak of intelligent craftsmen in the new era, the exhibition hall of NJCIT vividly demonstrates that the College has engaged in the information vocational education for 68 years and it has accompanied the development of China's electronics industry, the prosperity of the information industry, and the advancement of the intelligent era. The exhibition hall presents NJCIT's achievements in moral education, integration of industry and education, professional development, smart campus, innovation education, double-professionally-titled teachers, international exchange and other aspects in recent years through themed exhibition boards and videos. Through physical displays and physical experiences, it shows that the teachers and students of the College have well inherited the spirit of serving production and life with technological innovation. The exhibits included not only the Sanqin radios produced by the students of Nanjing Radio Industry School in the 1960s but also technological innovation and transformation achievements of teachers and students in recent years, such as the Pipeline Robot which won the Gold Prize of the Challenge Cup, the chocolate 3D printer which has been fully commercialized, smart mobility scooters, smart blood oxygen monitors, etc. Many leaders and representatives from other universities and colleges have been attracted to visit and experience.

On the morning of May 20, Cao Yumei, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and Xu Qing, Director of the Department for Vocational Education, visited the exhibition hall of the College. On May 21, President Tian Min and Vice President Du Qingbo visited the exhibition hall to see the teachers and students who participated in the exhibition.
