The 2022 Annual Conference of the Cyberspace Security Vocational Education Special Committee, Jiangsu Computer Society Held Successfully

Sponsored by the Cyberspace Security Vocational Education Special Committee and organized by NJCIT, the 2022 Annual Conference of the Cyberspace Security Vocational Education Special Committee, Jiangsu Computer Society and the Special Forum on High-skilled Information Security Talent Training Model Innovation were held in Nanjing City on September 25, 2022. Nearly 40 colleges and enterprises from Jiangsu Province attended the event. The annual conference was divided into three parts, including the opening ceremony, election meeting and special forum. 

Xu Jianjun, Vice President of NJCIT, delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony and stated that information security guarantee has become more important with the rapid development of the new-generation information technology and intelligent manufacturing industry. NJCIT has always paid high attention to cyberspace security talent training and major building and won awards in provincial competitions and above many times. As the backup unit of the special committee, it will continue playing the leading and demonstration role under the Double High-levels Plan, actively create a better talent training platform for sister colleges and cyberspace security enterprises and work with them to contribute to the cyberspace security talent training in Jiangsu Province, she also said. Later, Jiangsu Computer Society appointed Xu Jianjun as the honorary director. 

Professor Jin Ying, Secretary General of Jiangsu Computer Society, made a speech to highly praise the special committee's efforts over the years to promote cyberspace security talent training within the province and encourage it to further integrate college and enterprise resources, make full use of the provincial society's platform advantage and tie colleges and enterprises in cyberspace security talent training. 

After that, Nie Ming, Director of the Special Committee and Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence, delivered the Work Report of Cyberspace Security Vocational Education Special Committee, Jiangsu Computer Society on behalf of the first executive committee at the opening ceremony. During the annual conference, the election was also conducted and a new group of executive committee members was elected, laying a good foundation for the special committee's next-phase work. After the election, the special committee prepared 5 brilliant theme forums on the highly- skilled information security talent training model for attendees which aroused high praise. 

The Cyberspace Security Vocational Education Special Committee, Jiangsu Computer Society was founded in 2016. This annual conference stuck to the theme of talent training, highlighted the feature of vocational education, enhanced the college-enterprise communication efficiency in the cyberspace security field within the province, effectively publicized and expanded NJCIT's influence on information security talent training and provided a cooperation window for the artificial intelligence application professional group in information security talent training.
