A lecture on Thai culture by experts in Chinese and Thai culture studies from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) was held online from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on May 27. Nearly 600 students from the School of Electronic Information and the School of Network and Communication attended the lecture.
The two lecturers Ms. Parnkan Vijitsanguan and Ms. Wanlapa Jandaboue from RMUTT both started their lectures at 10:00 am. They introduced Thailand's history, culture, spoken and written languages, food and tourism to the students, and then compared the cultures of China and Thailand in different historical periods. The students actively interacted with the lecturers online.
This lecture triggered students' thinking on the influence of international communication, made them realize the importance of promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture to go global, stimulated their enthusiasm to participate in the external publicity of Chinese culture, and led them to continuously improve their cross-cultural literacy.
