NJCIT Holds the Conference for Work and Celebration of Teachers' Day in the Fall Semester of 2022

On the afternoon of September 8, NJCIT held the Conference for Work and Celebration of Teachers' Day in the Fall Semester of 2022. Wang Danzhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of NJCIT, Tian Min, President of NJCIT, Xu Jianjun, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of NJCIT, Lin Hong, Director of Publicity Department, Yang Bin, Director of Organization Department, and representatives of faculty members attended the conference. The conference was chaired by Wang Danzhong. There were three venues for the conference. The 600 Auditorium served as the main venue, and the 300 Lecture Hall and Room C403 of the Administration Building as branch venues.

Outstanding groups and individuals at NJCIT in the first half of 2022 were commended at the conference including: those among the first pilot organizations for construction of digital campus at vocational colleges listed by the Ministry of Education, pilot colleges for specialty construction based on university-industry integration included by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, outstanding colleges across China for joint construction of Yiban, civilized colleges in Jiangsu Province, high-quality and safe colleges in Jiangsu Province, exemplary Party branches in Party development in China, Excellent Teacher Award of the 7th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award, silver award in the Communication and Network Management Competition of the World Vocational College Skills Competition, first prize in National Competition for Skills of Vocational Education, first prize in the 2021 Jiangsu Province Vocational Education Teaching Achievement Award, golden award for the “Challenge Cup” Jiangsu Province College Student Business Plan Competition, award for special project for college teachers in ideological and political theory courses under the Ministry of Education, etc. Leaders of NJCIT and members of the Party committee presented awards to the representatives.

Xu Kaijun on behalf of teachers and Hu Youfei on behalf of instructors delivered speeches to celebrate the Teachers' Day. They said that they would keep in mind their mission and responsibility, and make constant contributions to realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and to the development of NJCIT with great efforts and a relentless spirit.

Tian Min, President of NJCIT, delivered a speech. He pointed out that NJCIT will constantly promote strict self-discipline of the Party and high-quality development in a coordinated manner, keep campus safety and stability, promote the construction of NJCIT, target at vocational education up to university standards, deepen the integrated reforms, strengthen its distinctive features in school running, and elevate all undertakings to a new level. He reviewed the outstanding achievements of various tasks in the first half of 2022, and clarified the focus of the work in the fall semester. He required all to stick to the original intention in education, keep in mind the mission of educating people, educate people for the Party and for the country, fulfill respective duties, work hard, strive for better performance, ensure the smooth completion of various tasks, and make a consummate end to the year of 2022.

The ceremony to welcome new teachers was then held. Zeng Qingzhu, winner of the Excellent Teacher Award of the 7th Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award, took the oath at the ceremony with 24 new teachers in 2022.

In the end, all the representatives of the faculty stood up and sang Ode to the Motherland in passion to conclude the ceremony.
