In order to coordinate the pandemic prevention and control efforts and the admission of new students, NJCIT held a special work coordination meeting in advance, formulated a plan, and strictly implemented all the requirements for pandemic prevention and control. NJCIT has also built a big data system for pandemic prevention and control, upgraded the health check-in system, realized check-in at specific spots, and accurately grasped the location of the students. The system functions for the management of students from medium- and high-risk areas, with real-time upgrades of information on such areas and automatic reminders as scientific basis for investigation. The campus return function is integrated with the health and check-in data. The form of application for returning to school covers health data, and travel routes in detail, so as to keep students safe and facilitate convenience for them to the largest extent. New students are allowed to register on campus only after completing the personal information, confirming the class they are assigned to, paying the fees, filling out all information required, and completing the online application.

All relevant departments of NJCIT worked hand in hand. The logistics service center disinfected and cleaned the dormitories, classrooms and canteens in advance. The Security Office set up traffic signs at various intersections on campus and sent personnel to maintain traffic order. The Publicity Department decorated certain arches and spots such as the Landscape Avenue for new students to take photos and thus added a lively air to the scene. Volunteers from various schools served the freshmen in earnest with vigorous guidance and assistance . . .
