Public Training Center for Information Technology Completed

To provide support for the college's teaching of general information technology courses and improve the students' expertise in information technology, Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology commenced the construction of the Public Training Center for Information Technology in 2021. Now, 16 standardized computer rooms and two computer networking training rooms which include a total of 864 stations for teaching related courses have been built.
Since being put into service in the autumn semester of 2021, the Public Training Center for Information Technology has been used in the course of Document Processing and Information Retrieval for 85 classes and provided computer rooms for the college's freshmen. Besides, it has also offered space for the National Computer Rank Examination, the College English Test 3 Mock Examination, 1+X certificate evaluation, and skills competitions for electronic information. In total, it has provided services for persons inside and outside the college more than 5,000 times and seen a utilization rate of 96% for the training rooms. This has promoted the consolidation and sharing of public teaching facilities and improved the utilization rate of practice-based teaching resources.
