Characteristics and Advantages

The major of Application of Photoelectric Technology is a Key Construction Specialty of National Model (Backbone) Colleges and students of the major have won many awards in national competitions. Rapid developments have been witnessed in major focuses on photoelectric display systems such as LED display because the photoelectric display technology and has been widely applied in the world.

The major aims at cultivating electronic engineering technicians with the ability to apply information technology, and who can practice professions in the field of computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries, and inter-disciplinary technical talents who can engage in the design, implementation, operation and maintenance, testing and quality management of optoelectronic systems.

In-depth Cooperative Enterprises

The major has successively cooperated with Info Vision Optoelectronics (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. and Nanjing CEC Panda LCD Technology Co., Ltd. in setting up enterprise order classes, jointly developing courses, building training bases, and carrying out enterprise staff training, etc., delivering more than 600 high-quality graduates to the display industry. The cooperation results of school-enterprise co-construction of enterprise colleges and co-education of talents in the flat panel display industry won the second prize of Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Achievements Award.
