Characteristics and Advantages

Enrollments in this major began, for the first time, in 2004 when it was named Electronic Information Engineering Technology (Detection Technology and Application). It originated from the Radio Technology major set up in 1953 when the college was founded and is one of the traditional dominant majors of the college. In 2016, the major was renamed as Electronic Product Quality Inspection, and in 2019, it was selected as the construction major of Electronic Product Quality Inspection in the national Double High-quality Plan specialty group.

The major aims at cultivating inter-disciplinary technical talents who have a sense of social responsibility, innovative thinking, enterprising spirit and cooperation ability, who can dedicate themselves to their work and comply with the norms, who can apply information technology, and who can practice professions in the field of inspection and certification and engage in electronic product raw material inspection, process quality management and finished product inspection and certification.


In-depth Cooperative Enterprises

CQC-Trusted (Jiangsu) Testing Technology Co., Ltd.

In 2012, in a joint effort by the college and China Quality Certification Center (CQC), 10 million yuan was invested to found CQC-Trusted (Jiangsu) Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CQC-Trusted), a platform for the integration of production and education in mixed ownership, and CQC-NJCIT TIC School, an industrial school. The two institutions have shared resources namely, manpower, equipment and technology to achieve integrated development. Through the business of CQC-Trusted Laboratory, the school has extensively cooperated with industrial enterprises and practiced the school-enterprise cooperation mode (referred to as UPD mode) of working closely with upstream firms, building a service platform with enterprises, providing technical support and human resources services for downstream firms, and providing training bases, innovation bases and mixed teaching staff for majors. In June 2014, the achievements of the CQC-Trusted Project were presented in the bulletin of the Jiangsu Education Department and reported to the Ministry of Education.
