Lecturer Tang Jinhua Win the First Prize in the "Third National College PE Teachers' Teaching and Training Skills Competition"

From October 10 to 13, 2024, the Third National College PE Teachers' Teaching and Training Skills Competition was held as scheduled in South China University of Technology. Approved by the Department of Physical, Health and Arts Education of the Ministry of Education, this activity is organized by the National Committee on Physical Education Teaching of Higher Education, supported by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, and undertaken by South China University of Technology.

214 PE teachers from 103 universities in China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University and Nanjing University, participated in the competition. Tang Jinhua, our teacher from the Sports Department, participated in the competition on behalf of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province. After signing up, the department attached great importance to and prepare for it. So did Tang. He did an excellent job in the teaching design, video shooting, on-site physical fitness test and special skills display, which won recognition from the judges. Finally, he was awarded the first prize. All these show the excellent sports skills and good teaching ability of physical education teachers in our school, and also shows the good spirit of hard work and progress of our faculty.
