From June 2 to 5, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education held the 2021 The Third Training Course for Management Cadres of International Students at Zhejiang University. This training was organized by the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, and a total of 161 universities across the country sent their management cadres to participate in the training. Cao Xue, Dean of the School of International Education of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT), attended the training.

The training held four special reports covering lectures on topics related to international students' enrollment, management and cultivation, public opinion response and emergency handling, cross-cultural communication, Chinese culture and national conditions. It also included experience exchange on the implementation of documents such as the Order of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security No. 42 and the Quality Standards for Higher Education for International Students in China (Trial). Group discussions themed on the current ubiquitous problems of international students' management (online teaching, dormitory, attendance, rules and regulations, etc.) were conducted as well.

After this training course, all colleges and universities learned the importance of comprehensively improving the management and service abilities of the persons in charge of international students. It is clear that NJCIT will continue to strengthen the education and management of international students and perfect the working mechanism of international students with the goal of cultivating high-quality international talents in the post-epidemic era. NJCIT will also strive to further advance the internationalization of education and promote the development of studying in China.
