From 14:00 to 15:30 on June 21, the Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT) participated in the 2021 China Education Expo—Virtual Event (for vocational education) as one of the first representatives of higher vocational colleges. The event, organized by China Education Association for International Exchange, includes three sessions, namely, Students Recruitment Fair, Higher Education B2B Online Connect and TVET B2B Online Connect. More than 400 colleges and educational institutions from 53 countries and regions participated in this event.
The China Education Expo was first held in 2000 under the sponsorship of the China Education Association for International Exchange. It has won wide recognition among domestic colleges and institutions and developed into the largest expo of this kind in China. This year's Expo was held in a hybrid mode of English online display and live discussion. Exhibitors can showcase their schools on the exhibition platform via live streaming, and carry out online communication with foreign institutions.
The event was prepared by the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of our college. It consists of three sessions, namely, the PPT presentation on the International Development of the College, Cloud Tour to Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology and Q&A. During the Q&A session, we received many questions from overseas institutions. They showed their interest in carrying out international cooperation with our college and sending overseas students to study there, and expressed their intention to come to our college for cooperation. This is another practice of our college to further explore high-quality international cooperation resources and enhance our international influence and international communication ability.
