He urged all freshmen to bear in mind patriotism, forge ahead and be diligent in learning to become ambitious, confident and knowledgeable young people in the new era. They should learn professional knowledge and technical skills to echo the call of the times, and do their bit in building China into a technological power.
In his speech, Mr. Shi Lv, on behalf of outstanding teachers from the School of Artificial Intelligence, offered three suggestions to the freshmen. First, in terms of professional learning, they should find a learning method suitable for themselves and their majors, and cultivate their ability for independent learning and lifelong learning. In college life, they should learn to understand and care about others, communicate and complement each other, and face the difficulties in life with a positive attitude. In terms of personal development, they should set up ideals and be grateful, and contribute their strength to comprehensively building China into a modern socialist country.
As a representative of the freshmen, Liu Zhengdong from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing said in his speech that the college provides students with a sound environment to develop their talents, and we students should set up firm goals and forge ahead to realize our dreams. As 2021 freshmen, they will strive to contribute to the development of our country.
