NJCIT's Project Approved as "Chinese Bridge" Online Group Project by Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education

Recently, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Center) released the approval results of the Chinese Bridge online group exchange program in 2021, including the project Chinese Language Helps Experience the Charming of Vocational Education applied by our college, which has obtained the fund support. This is the first project of this kind in our college approved by the Center.

The Chinese Bridge program is a Chinese language and culture experience program initiated by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education. It aims to enhance the understanding of Chinese and foreign youth on the language and culture of both sides, strengthen language education exchanges between China and foreign countries, and do a good job in international Chinese education development and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries by providing the Chinese language and culture courses and cultural experience activities. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Chinese Bridge program was carried out in the form of online group communication.

Our college plans to carry out the approved project in mid-December which lasts for 16 days. The project mainly focuses on Chinese language teaching, with the theme of Chinese Language Helps Experience the Charming of Vocational Education. Taking Chinese Language + Vocational Skills education and training characteristics as the starting point, the project adopts various forms to deliver the courses such as online live Chinese classes, recorded theme classes, online cultural and vocational education lectures, online tour experience, and online communication, so that even students who are in foreign countries can fully appreciate Nanjing's charm as a humanistic green city and city of love. In this way, Chinese language learners can appreciate the development of Chinese higher vocational education and its unique charm while deepening their understanding of the Chinese language and culture. This will help them understand China, Nanjing and Chinese vocational education in a more comprehensive way, enhance Chinese and foreign humanities exchanges, and meet the needs of overseas people to understand the Chinese language and culture.

The implementation of this project is a new exploration of our college in developing international action plans, promoting the Chinese Language + Vocational Skills project, disseminating Chinese culture, and telling Chinese stories. It provides a new opportunity for improving the international visibility and influence of our college, and will also inject new vitality and stimulate new growth points for the international educational exchange and cooperation of our college.
