Recently, a project initiated by Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology (NJCIT) was approved as a key project of teaching resource development of the 2021 Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Center). The project is an integrated textbook entitled Chinese for Modern Communication Technology (Chinese-English-Thaila), which is developed by the Quality Education Department and the School of Network and Communication under the leadership of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation of NJCIT. This is the first project of this kind in our college approved by the Center.

On July 1, 2021, the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education (GF0025-2021) (hereinafter referred to as the Grading Standards) issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and State Language Commission was officially implemented. As the first language standard for foreign Chinese language learners that comprehensively depicts and evaluates learners' Chinese language skills and proficiency, the Grading Standards provides strong support for the development of international Chinese language education, and is a normative standard for future teaching resource development in international Chinese education. In order to further promote the standardization of teaching resource development in international Chinese education and advance the innovative development of teaching resources, the Center initiated the application of the teaching resources development project of Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education in 2021 worldwide.

The approval of this project is an important achievement made by our college in the high-quality development of international Chinese education, and the recognition of our long-standing commitment to international school running and the continuous expansion of international exchanges. The project will also help the college make new breakthroughs in developing Chinese Language + Vocational Skills education, and promote the sustainable and high-quality development of international education.
