To fully demonstrate the comprehensive quality, professional level and innovative practical ability of Jiangsu's college art teachers in the new era, and select the national demonstration team, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education held the 1st Basic Skills Competition for College Art Teachers in Jiangsu Province in Suzhou City from December 8 to10. Three teachers from the School of Digital Arts, Chen Lei, Chen Ru and Jiang Tongtong, participated in the competition. After the fierce competition, Chen Lei won the Individual All-around Second Prize in the professional art education group, Chen Ru won the Individual All-around Third Prize in the professional art education group, and Jiang Tongtong won the Individual All-around Third Prize in the public art education group.
The competition attracted a total of 379 teachers from 101 colleges and universities (there is no discrimination between undergraduate institutions and junior institutions) in the province. Our three teachers competed with many participants from various undergraduate institutions and vocational institutions in the three-day competition, and showed excellent professionalism and personal image (the award rate of junior colleges accounts for about 20%). The achievements of the three teachers demonstrated the comprehensive professional quality of the teachers in our School of Digital Arts, and will motivate the school to further improve the quality of classroom teaching, and transform the spirit of aesthetic education into actions, thus contributing to the innovation and development of the college's aesthetic education in the new era.
