A Professor from the University of Sunderland Gives a Lecture for Students of the Joint Training Program at NJCIT

On the afternoon of September 1, Dr. Lesley-Ann Gunton, a professor at the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom, was invited by NJCIT and gave a lecture for students of the Joint Training Program. All the students attended.

The lecture focused on modules such as What is Leadership, Comparison of Management and Leadership, Leadership Research Framework and Ways to Show Leadership, and introduced the topic of leadership in the field of business administration to the students. Professor Gunton is a Doctor of Business and Management, a Fellow of the British Higher Education Academy, and the MBA program leader at the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism, University of Sunderland, UK. She has taught and studied in the fields of leadership and management development, and human resource management for a long term. With expertise in compensation and performance management, she also pays particular attention to motivation for the application of self-determination theory, student engagement, and project management.

One of the events for the Joint Training Program at NJCIT, the lecture helped enrich the program, broaden students' international vision, promote multicultural exchanges, and elevate NJCIT’s internationalization level and construction up to double standards.
