To thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the employment of college graduates, fully carry out the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province's Summer Sprint Action for College Graduate Employment and the Employment Expansion and Quality Improvement Action, precisely meet the talent needs of Jiangsu's 1650 modern industrial system, deepen the integration of industry and education, and advance the reform of talent cultivation models, the Jiangsu Province 2026 College Graduates Summer Sprint and Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology 2026 & 2027 Internship and Employment Fair for New-Generation Information and Communication Technology and High-end Equipment Industries was grandly held at NJCIT on May 19.

The event brought together more than 200 high-quality enterprises, covering core industrial fields that NJCIT focuses on, such as new-generation information and communication, software technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, semiconductor packaging and testing, artificial intelligence, and modern service industries. Nearly 6,000 internship and employment positions were offered, spanning various directions including technology research and development, manufacturing, operation management, and grassroots management trainees. This fully reflects the high recognition and trust that industries and enterprises have in the quality of NJCIT's talent cultivation and the comprehensive qualities of its graduates.

In the early stage, through the precise matching of the special action Visiting Enterprises to Expand Job Opportunities and Promote Employment at both the institute and school levels, we gathered high-quality enterprises and positions, building an efficient and pragmatic employment matchmaking platform for graduates and employers. Kong Jie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the institute, visited the site to learn in detail about students' job search intentions and position choices, and caringly urged the students to identify their positioning, make rational career choices, and proactively seize employment opportunities. He emphasized that NJCIT has always been employment-oriented, deeply cultivating the integration of industry and education and the combination of work and study. By closely aligning what industries need, what talents can do, and what NJCIT excels at, we have deeply integrated corporate employment standards, job competency requirements, and industry development frontiers into the entire process of talent cultivation, striving to promote a precise match and synchronized resonance between talent supply and regional industrial demand. Sun Gang, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President, stated in relation to his responsibilities that NJCIT will continue to optimize employment services, precisely meet corporate needs, clear key obstacles in the job-seeking process, and make every effort to ensure high-quality and full employment for graduates, contributing NJCIT's strength to the high-quality development of the local economy.

Zhang Zhen, Director of the Nanjing Municipal Labor and Employment Service Management Center, and Li Hongchang, Director of NJCIT's Office of Domestic Exchange and Cooperation, jointly signed the School-Local Cooperation Agreement on Talent Service Stations for Universities in Nanjing. The two parties will carry out regular and in-depth cooperation in areas such as talent introduction and cultivation, employment services, and job matching, to build a precise and efficient employment platform for graduates, helping them stay in Nanjing to contribute to and serve local development.

The job fair was bustling with people and had a warm atmosphere. Graduates actively communicated with corporate recruiters, submitted resumes, inquired about job requirements, and learned about career development paths. Many students reached preliminary employment intentions with enterprises. Wang, a 2026 graduate from the Modern Communication Technology program at the School of Network and Communication, said: This job fair features many leading enterprises in the communication industry, covering positions like 5G operation and maintenance and IoT applications, which are highly relevant to my major. The company I just consulted with also recognized NJCIT's professional training, which has made me more confident about my employment prospects. Li, a student from the Industrial Robotics program at the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, also shared his job-seeking experience: There are many high-end equipment manufacturing companies on-site. I focused on consulting about positions related to industrial robot debugging and production line operation and maintenance. The enterprises highly value our practical skills, and I have already submitted my resume to two companies I am interested in.

To provide all-round support for students' job hunting, NJCIT set up a special employment guidance service area on-site, offering one-on-one precise services such as resume optimization, interview guidance, employment policy interpretation, and rights protection consultation. We also promoted Jiangsu Province's employment support policies for college graduates to help students clarify their job search direction and enhance their competitiveness.

Next, Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology will take this job fair as a new starting point to continuously consolidate the achievements of visiting enterprises to expand job opportunities, continue to deepen the reform of integrating work and study, constantly improve the school-enterprise collaborative education mechanism, fully support the employment tracking services for graduates, solidly advance the summer sprint for the employment of the 2026 graduating class, and proactively plan the internship and employment work for the 2027 students.
