





From April 17 to 20, 2026, the Artificial Intelligence Application competition in the Artificial Intelligence Track (Higher Vocational Group) of the Bank of China Cup 2026 Jiangsu Vocational College Skills Competition was successfully held at Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology. This competition was co-hosted by 15 departments including the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Finance, and was organized by Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology. A total of 56 teams from across the province gathered at Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology to compete on the same stage and learn from one another, fully demonstrating the phased achievements of higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu in cultivating technical and skilled personnel in artificial intelligence.
This competition consisted of required skill operations, optional skill operations, and presentation and explanation sessions, covering many aspects such as data preparation, basic algorithm application, deep learning application, optional intelligent application, comprehensive application analysis, and professional literacy. It closely followed the development trends of the artificial intelligence industry and the frontline needs of real production, management, and services, and aimed to comprehensively assess students' skill levels, professional literacy, teamwork, and innovation and creativity in artificial intelligence applications.
During the competition, the panel of judges strictly followed the competition rules and scoring criteria, and officiated throughout the event in a fair, impartial, and open manner to ensure that the results were authoritative and credible. In their post-competition comments, the panel of experts for this competition noted that the participating teams had diverse professional backgrounds and that the project topics covered many fields, including industrial development, cultural development, livelihood security, and social governance. They stated that the event showcased the deep integration of artificial intelligence technology with industry applications and, overall, was a well-organized competition with remarkable results and distinctive features.
To ensure the smooth and successful running of the competition, NJCIT attached great importance to it and set up a leading group for competition preparation. The group coordinated multiple parties, including the Academic Affairs Office, Logistics, Security, Medical Services, Power Supply Support, Technical Support, and the School of Artificial Intelligence, and carefully organized and clarified responsibilities around key links such as participant registration, equipment debugging, venue setup, technical support, logistical services, and emergency response, thus providing a standardized, safe, and efficient environment for the competition.
