Characteristics and Advantages

Since its setup, the major of Applied Intelligent Transportation Technology has made great achievements in majors construction, teaching reform, talent training, scientific research and innovation, etc. This major mainly aims at cultivating students to pursue careers in the fields of urban transportation, expressway, road engineering technology and road transportation service in the road transportation industry, and inter-disciplinary technical talents who can take up the posts associated with intelligent transportation system integration, intelligent transportation engineering project implementation, intelligent transportation system operation and maintenance, etc.

Cooperative Enterprises

The major has carried out in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with Zhejiang Dahua Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Collaborative Transportation Industry Innovation Research Institute, etc. Through the signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements, all parties have reached a consensus on the joint training of students majoring in Intelligent Transportation. Up to now, cooperated with Zhejiang Dahua Co., Ltd., we have established the Dahua Industrial College, and the cooperation on teaching materials and teaching plans, faculties, training base and training equipment, daily education management and so on has also been landed between the two sides. Besides, more than 10 students of this major have successively attended the training and enterprise practice sponsored by Nanjing Collaborative Transportation Industry Innovation Research Institute. After the students complete the learning tasks and pass the examination, Dahua will arrange their internship and employment.
