Intelligent Control Technology

This specialty serves the future intelligent workshop, focusing on the full digital life cycle of digital design, digital production, and digital factory management of typical electronic products. We train students to master the technology of digital twins, be able to use NX MCD, TC, TM and other software proficiently, and understand the basic knowledge of the industrial Internet technology, cloud technology, big data, artificial intelligence, etc., and become compound technical talents in intelligent manufacturing control system assembly and adjustment, maintenance and repair, system integration application, pre-sales and after-sales services.

This specialty is oriented to the training of complex skilled talents in the assembly and adjustment, maintenance and repair of intelligent manufacturing control systems, system integration applications, and pre-sales and after-sales services. Graduates have good employment prospects and a large development space. Companies that graduates have joined include Siemens Factory Automation Engineering Ltd (SFAE). and Suzhou Bozhong Precision Technology Co., Ltd., Nanjing Estun Automation Co., Ltd., Wuxi Xinjie Electric Co., Ltd. and other well-known enterprises.

On the basis of the college’s provincial backbone major construction of mechatronics and industrial robots, and relying on the future planning of the college’s intelligent manufacturing specialty group, the Intelligent Control Technology specialty aims to cultivate students’ skills to serve the future intelligent workshops with the top-level control technology of the intelligent workshop and the digital twin teaching platform around the full digital life cycle process of digital design, digital production, and digital factory management of typical electronic products.

Actively responding to the national development strategy, relying on the coordinated development of the “the Belt and Road Initiative”, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the regional economic integration of the Yangtze River Delta, and focusing on intelligent control-related positions of the intelligent manufacturing specialty group, we will cultivate compound technical talents who have a sense of social responsibility and professionalism, a sense of standardization and innovative thinking, a willingness to enterprising, the ability to cooperate, and the ability to apply information technology, who are oriented to electrical engineering technicians, equipment engineering technicians, programmable control system engineers, manufacturing trip system planners and other professional groups in the general equipment and special equipment manufacturing, and who can be engaged in the assembly and adjustment of, maintenance and repair, integrated application and pre-sales and after-sales services of intelligent manufacturing control system.

In-depth Cooperative Enterprises

As a new specialty of the college, we're currently carrying out in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with Siemens Automation to build a digital twin teaching platform with a total investment of 8.5 million yuan. As a Siemens digital software training and certification authorization point, we'll launch NX MCD, Teamcenter, Teammaxit, APS, MES and other software certification training in the future.

At present, we're actively participating in the training and certification of F1 intelligent service engineers of Suzhou Bozhong Precision Technology Co., Ltd., and delivering compound skilled talents for the installation, debugging and after-sales services of automation equipment for the non-standard automation industry across the country.
