Characteristics and Advantages

The Mechatronics Technology specialty has a long history. It has been opened since the establishment of the college in 1953. It was selected as Jiangsu Model College Construction Major in 2008. In 2012, it was awarded the Jiangsu Provincial Brand Major and the Core Major of Jiangsu Provincial Key Specialty Group. In 2017, it was awarded a High-level Backbone Major in higher vocational education in Jiangsu Province.

After decades of construction and development of this major, a large number of electromechanical professionals have been trained, and the teaching staff has also grown and improved rapidly. The current professional teaching team is an excellent teaching team in Jiangsu Province, with 2 National Technical Experts, 1 National Outstanding Teacher, 1 Young and Middle-aged Expert with “Outstanding Contribution” in Jiangsu Province, 1 provincial Skills Master Studio, 1 provincial May 1st Labor Medal winner, 2 provincial “333 Talent Project” training recipients, 2 Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader of provincial “Qinglan Project”, and 4 Backbone Teachers.

In-depth Cooperative Enterprises

We collaborated with Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and Siemens Berlin Institute of Technology to launch the Siemens Mechatronics System Certification Program (SMSCP). In the mechatronics major, 8 teachers with a total of 18 people went to Germany for training and obtained the qualification of trainer. We cooperated with Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. to build a Siemens Automation Technology Training Center, with a total investment of 4 million yuan. Cooperating with Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. Training Center, we carried out S7-200 and S7-300 campus certification training as a Siemens PLC campus training authorization point.

In cooperation with AirTAC (China) Co., Ltd., we built a modular production line training room and a pneumatic product exhibition room jointly with the enterprise and carried out in-depth cooperation in student employment and employee training.

Admission

Admission starts from March 1^st to June 30^th every year. NJCIT will select and recruit outstanding applicants before August 15^th and deliver Admission Notice to qualified applicants.
