Characteristics and Advantages

The Software Technology specialty was established in 2003, which is a brand-featured specialty of higher education in Jiangsu Province, a specialty under the key construction of core higher vocational colleges in the “National Demonstrative Higher Vocational College Construction Plan”, and a high-level backbone specialty of Jiangsu Province. It was awarded Specialty under Key Construction of High-level Higher Vocational Colleges in Jiangsu Province in 2018.

It aims to cultivate compound technical talents who have a sense of social responsibility and professionalism, normative awareness and innovative thinking, and enterprising willingness and cooperation ability, and the ability to apply information technology, are oriented to the professional group of computer software engineering, computer programming, computer software testing, etc., and can engage in the design and development of software products, services and other positions.

In-depth Cooperative Enterprises

Our school is in the first batch of pilot colleges of the Ministry of Education for the “1+X” Web front-end development vocational skills level test and is also one of the 424 pilot colleges in the country that has Web front-end development vocational skills level certificates. We collaborated with KGC to build a Web front-end development training room, invited enterprise engineers to exchange discussions with professional teachers of our school, and carried out “1+X” Web front-end development certification training for all students who have passed the examination.
