Characteristics and Advantages

The major of Communication Signal Technology of Urban Rail Transit was set up in 2012, and since then, fruitful achievements have been made in majors construction, teaching reform, talent training, and scientific research and innovation. This major aims at training inter-disciplinary technical talents with IT application ability and sustainable development capacity to take up posts in rail transit communication and rail transit signal in the road transportation industry and to be able to engage in the installation, debugging and maintenance of communication and signal equipment as well as system operation maintenance and management.

Cooperative Enterprises

The in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with Suzhou Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. has been landed since 2018, when both sides entered into the “Agreement on Entrusted Training of Order Students” to jointly train students majoring in Communication Signal Technology of Urban Rail Transit in the order-orientated cultivating mode. Up to now, more than 120 students have been jointly recruited by the two sides and grouped into three classes. We have agreed to cooperate on teaching materials and teaching plans, faculties, training base and training equipment, daily education management, etc. In total, 12 students majoring in Communication Signal Technology of Urban Rail Transit has participated in the training and enterprise practice in Suzhou Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. After the students of Suzhou Metro order class complete the learning tasks and pass the examination, Suzhou Metro will arrange their internship and employment.

Moreover, our major also has close cooperation with Nanjing Nriet Industrial Co., Ltd., Shanghai Fuxin Intelligent Transportation Solutions Co., Ltd., Nanjing Metro, Nantong metro, Xuzhou Metro and other enterprises to complete the joint training of professional talents.

Admission

Admission starts from March 1^st to June 30^th every year. NJCIT will select and recruit outstanding applicants before August 15^th and deliver Admission Notice to qualified applicants.
