Characteristics and Advantages

The name of the major was derived from the Radio Technology major in 2015. Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology was formerly known as Nanjing Radio Industry School. As the first major set up by the college, the Radio Technology major has great professional strength and holds a good reputation both at home and abroad.

Though the applied electronic technology has varied connotations, our school’s major of applied electronic technology mainly focuses on the fields of the (auxiliary) design, manufacturing, testing and certification of wireless products.

In-depth Cooperative Enterprises

Enterprise One: Nanjing Rongce Testing Technology Ltd

Nanjing Rongce Testing Technology Ltd, an EMC testing and certification laboratory established in Nanjing by Compliance Direction Group with an investment of over 100 million yuan, is the only EMC certification laboratory for high-voltage components of new energy vehicles approved by Ford Motor Company of the United States and Yutong Bus Company of China. The company takes an active part in the cultivation of talents in higher vocational education of our school. Since 2018, it has been committed to the school-enterprise cooperation in wireless technology service platform construction, specialty construction and capital investment, etc., which has achieved remarkable results. At present, more than 20 graduates of the major of our school work at the company, most of whom play a major role in the front-line positions of EMC testing and certification.

Enterprise Two: Nanjing Hengdian Electronics Co., Ltd.

Nanjing Hengdian Electronics Co., Ltd., a national high-tech enterprise established in October 1998, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Shenglu Telecommunications Tech. Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002446). The company, which specialized in the design, development, production and service of microwave hybrid integrated circuits and related components, is a core supplier of radar components with annual sales value of 300 million yuan. At present, the company has 380 employees, including 42 graduates from our school, more than one-third of whom play a significant role in its research and development, commissioning and management positions. As a productive practical training base for Electronic Information majors of our school, the company attaches great importance to the close cooperation with the Applied Electronic Technology major of our establishment in terms of talent training, curriculum designing, and the construction of mixed teaching staff team, etc.
