She graduated from the Department of Automatic Control of Nanjing Institute of Technology (Southeast University) in 1982. She won the first prize at the provincial tutoring of the National College Students Electronics Design Contest, and published seven papers in the Core Journals of China, with three patents for utility model and four patents for the invention granted. She presided over a number of scientific research and development projects including the Enterprise Promotion Project organized by the Nanjing Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and Nanjing Municipal Education Bureau. She was awarded the third prize at the Jiangsu Science ProgressProvincial Award.
